About
Wilderness Expeditions:
Information
for all of our day rafting trips:
-
We
recommend that you wear polyester or other non-cotton
clothing. Cotton stays wet longer and will make
you cold.
-
Wear
a pair of sandals, old sneakers or slippers.
Remember that you are going to get wet - don't wear
your best shoes or clothing. The rubber soles
of some sneakers are slippery on the raft material.
Try to avoid wearing these.
-
If
you want to take pictures during your trip, please
bring a waterproof camera which won't be damaged by
water and are inexpensive if lost.
-
Leave
your wallets, jewelry and other valuables with either
the van/bus driver or with your river guide (who will
keep it secure in a waterproof bag). Leave your dry
clothing in a bag on the van/bus and you can change
as soon as the trip is over. Your items will
be safe and you can pick them up when you are done.
