Kennebec River Trip
Kennebec River Trip The Kennebec River is Maine's most
popular whitewater river and is considered one of the
best in the world. From beginning to end, rafting the
Kennebec means mile after mile of whitewater. The Kennebec
flows from Moosehead Lake (Maine's largest lake) across
Indian Pond and crashes through the Kennebec Gorge. Six
to eight foot waves mean you will be up close and personal
with rapids like the Three Sisters, the Alleyway and Magic
Falls...some of the most challenging and beautiful rapids
in the East. Class 1-4 rapids--the trip is 14 miles long.
Kennebec
Wildside Sport Boat Trip
Be
bold and do something a little more daring by going down
the river in smaller 6-man rafts. You'll have bigger thrills
being closer to the action. Simply add $10 per person
to our normal rates, and you get your own personally guided
smaller raft!
Kennebec
Big Flush
Learn to respect the mighty Kennebec River in its untamed
state, when the dam releases the water at full to test
it's hydro-electric power capabilities. Incredible water
flows make for incredible rafting in class V rapids!
